Our son, 48, Dec. 5, 2114 (three days ago & got me thinking and researching show) how much he loved Grizzly Adams growing up and we bought him a wonderful all metal, grizzly lunch box (with metal handle). He cherished and kept for his only son in near perfect condition (as was all his toys). It was round topped like an old roll-top trunk, brightly & totally covered with the mountainous woods scene, cabin, Grizzly Adams and the bear (like shrink wrap of today, only painted), and came with a like-themed thermos inside the hinged, upper lid, unlike most boxes of that era which were flat. Last year or so, our grandson took his lunch to school in that beautiful lunchbox at age 11, and his teacher locked it away immediately informing his parents, my son and wife, not to allow him to bring it to school ever again on Day One. Seems it was ONE HOT item with the kids and she did not want to be responsible for it. Now it is in storage in the top kitchen cabinet. I am searching the net as to it's worth, but to my son, it is priceless. Thanks Dan Haggerty for the wonderful memories for my family. Looks like life has roughed you up a bit, but my prayers are for God's Blessings ahead and that you place your trust in Christ for eternal life til we see each other on the Other Side. And, btw, I am sure there are lots and lots of kids who looked up to you via Grizzly. You should have a fan club for them if you don't already. My grandson and son would love it. wt godfrey
