Unfortunately for me I've never met the actor Clint Walker. I've written several comments about him. You know, I will say this time and again, but I never really paid any attention to Clint Walker in my days of youth. I am African-American, and I do remember watching several western shows as a youngster with my dad and older siblings. This was a time in America when television was very wholesome to watch, even with the family. I do recall watching the movie "The Dirty Dozen". I only seen a glimpse of Clint Walker then. I really didn't pay fully attention to the individual himself as an actor up until now. I saw him being interviewed by Robert Osborne during a commercial break. And I said to myself, "Wow"! This man is still around. Three years ago, I became divorced from a man I loved and he also enjoyed watching westerns. It was after my divorce that I told a liking to westerns again. Especially at my old age. My ex-husband loved watching the encore western channel. So after his departure, I picked up where he had left off with the western thing. It was this one particular night I was surfing the channels and there was Clint Walker, playing the role of Cheyenne. It seems like one episode became one too many. I became hooked on this man. I wanted to know everything about him. I started to have some regrets as to why I never fully took notice of him in the past. I have to say that today I am such a big fan. I do agree, he deserves more than just a mere star on the sidewalk. He should be recognized not only for his role as Cheyenne, or for being a fine actor, but for being a very humble gentleman with christlike qualities. This is something that I appreciate in a man. And this man has it. Mr. Walker I am also happy to know that you are a child of God. You just don't know sir, but I often pray for you and your family. May you and yours survive Armageddon and make it to the new world that will soon be at hand. I don't know if I'll ever meet you in this lifetime, but I surely hope that this will be possible in the coming future when The Most-High God will soon intervene into the affairs of mankind and set all matters straight here on earth. I've watched many actors and actresses over the years, but there is no other like you Mr. Walker who has touched my heart in a most profound way. I love you Mr. Walker.
