Henry Shaffner about Johnson, Van

Hi! Hollywood,

If anybody deserves a star on
The Hollywood Walk of Fame it is the great Van Johnson. There was no actor more thought of as the
typical American boy than Van, during the WWII years, and as the
years went by he developed skills
as an all-around performer, at MGM, especially, beyond compare.
Van became the great star that he is
by sheer determination, and natural
ability. His ""magic moments" are
wiithout parallel! He absolutely
deserves that STAR!
