Ann Sheridan was one of the most talented stars of that era. She never received the backing from the studio that she deserved. When she was in a scene in a film, you didn't watch anything but her. I wish I had gotten the chance to meet her but she was taken from us to early. Damn cigarettes!!!! She was just like one of the guys but then you blink and she becomes this beautiful woman that could take your breath away. She was Sassy, Brassy, and Classy. I never miss any of her movies no matter what day or time they are on. I will set my alarm clock to see a movie if it's on at 3:00 am. Yes, she definitly deserves a star on the walk of fame. They should also give her one for television. Even though her last show "Pistols and Petticoats" didn't last long, she was dying at the time but still gave her all. I think the Academy also didn't give her the credit she deserved. She should have received a couple of Oscar moms. Specially for "King's Row", "The Unfaithful" and "Nora Prentiss". I wish TCM or AMC could find more of her films from the vault but I have a feeling that they probably didn't last. I miss you in the movies Ms.Clara Lou.
