Laurie Warren about Slash

I have never met Slash, only read about, watched a lot and listened to always his greatness. I admire everything he has done for humanity, for me personally and for the welfare of animals with his love for reptiles and Zoo's. I feel sorry and although I have done my share, it's too bad that the rock and roll scene involved the use of drugs and alcohol, but you get that in any scene not just the music industry. He was strong enough to leave that behind like I did. I admire that he quit smoking when he lost his mother to cancer, I have quit smoking two and a half years ago now and I am four years older than he but better late than never. I am sorry that he has heart trouble,I hope with the knowledge and medicine available today Slash will live a long and happy/healthy life. It will be such a great loss and sorrow filled time when we lose him. Saul is amazing and I love him, if I ever did meet him it would be the highlight of my life. I love guitar and play a little, I have had my son in lessons for six years now and he is only twelve, I bought him a Warlock for Christmas. I play anything Slash everyday and always will until the day I die and I hope they will play something Slash at my funeral. Much Love and Respect forever!
