Yes, I think deserves the star on the Hollywood walk of Fame. He has proved over & over again, for his songs, a lot which is based on personal Happenings in his own life. Randy is one of the only real country artists that has not gotten out of real country singing. Randy, is what country singing is all about. His songs are stories & poetry all rolled up into one. He is one of the greatest singer's I have ever heard.The 1st. time I heard him sing was back in 1987, my husband & I listened to his for Ever & Ever Amen, right before he lost his battle to cancer. So, Randy pulled me through this period of my life, just us listening to his song. Want to thank Randy for this beautiful song. I will always love Randy.
