I could add by tell many stories which I collected circa 1970. -- One frequently used Lubin film site is on the National Register of Historic Places: The 1600's log cabin at north end Creek Road in Drexel Hill. It made a near creek splendid background. Not many flat yards from Darby Creek the cabin was used in Cowboy Westerns circa 1902 and in years after - while Lubin was in Delaware County. One scene cranked out near the cabin made use of a fight between gold panners. The two fell fighting into the creek. Apparently fight and slash fall scenes were frequently done. -- A locally famous stage coach was horse raced frequently down the straight stretch of road heading toward the cabin. The Schoemaker family of Landsowne had a big barn and the coach was stored therein.
