I see so many remarkable names here, but surely the MOST notable one missing is Chuck Cecil, host of the Swingin' Years radio show, which has been in continuos production since 1956. At the show's peak in 1972 it was being broadcast by 468 stations in the U.S. and abroad. He is credited with documenting the history of the Swing Era and keeping that original form of American music alive as well as being the "Voice" of home on the Armed Forces network for over 20 years! The L.A. Time's did a front page article on his illustrios career and mentioned his amazing bio, awards, and the Lifetime Achievement Award bestowed upon him!
