Richard Watkins about Simms, Ginny

My great grandfather , Reedy "Mutt" Simms , was Ginny's fathers brother . Ginny was my grandmother's first cousin . I never met her , but the family was proud of her accomplishments and we loved to hear her sing , such a beautiful voice . I listen to big band music and love it when Kay Kaiser's band is on Sirius radio because almost always Ginny is singing . I did know Uncle Dormer and saw him at family reunions . We have a couple of her movies on dvd and I hope to find a cd recording soon . A great entertainer who was a star in a time of great stars and performers .
