Ms Clayton would come up to the Ojai Valley Inn and learn her scripts..... I worked there and she would ask for me to bring her room service.......which I was delighted, she would tell stories about Lassie and being 16 I was all ears.... she would tell that sometime she feels the dog had read the script before she did as he always knew just the right thing to do..........I enjoyed our times together so much...... my love.
